i will probably never do this again for a long while.

awoke at 4am, fetched yingsheng, and headed down to the esplanade by 5.30am... just to catch a few shots before dawn. main reason's that the waters at bay is really calm at that time, just before the merlion starts vomiting at 6.30am and rippling up the whole bay, providing the opportunity for the clean and neat reflections of the flyer. so end result, im shagged like !@#$% now... after a long morning of shooting and meeting stretched over the afternoon... but absolutely worth it. for once, a well spent day.

its been a week with the new class and things have surely kicked off well. ive to admit i havent been exactly sociable in the previous sem, for various reasons or should i say excuses? hah. but nonetheless, the peeps with me presently are really nice and fun to be with, and i definitely look forward to a pleasant last sem in school. project work have more or less been issued out and briefed. interesting as they may be, whoo... is there a load of hard work ahead. but at least they seem rather interesting this time. interactive skills, service relations, undercover audit at one of the hot hotels in spore... thankfully no more proposals! or at least i think so? lol. it wont be long before the work begins piling up. oh boyyy...

thanks so much everyone for all your smses, well wishes and prayers last sunday (including kevin! haha i know you'll read this. eh miss you mann), that made that special day so much more pleasant. love you all! muack! LOL.

birdpark visit on sunday. havent been there for years and the place has definitely changed quite a bit. pictures taken weren't that good this time, but still best to the ability of the zoom lens. hah, cant ask for much anyway, is a cheap one considering the many better ones out there. forgot to bring along a polarizing filter that only resulted in the obvious white glares over the water surface... totally ruined the pictures. shall try some photoshop when theres time, lol.

and yep, a birdy birthday it was.

1st syf internal training began today. lack of sleep, scouring sun, hours long drills... siong! but nonetheless it had its bits of fun. no doubt looking forward to future trainings with the fellow VIs and cadets! especially qing xiang sir whom i've not caught up with for such a long time. Glad to know you're enjoying yourself in ns now pal! haha.

breached thru two lines of security just to get these shoots. taken at raffles marina over the setting sun, which explains its security due to tuas checkpoint residing just beside. the end result: great satisfaction! i really like these pics. totally worth the risk. :)
